How To Use Deafwish
===================
This distortion plug allows you to simply draw a 'linear saturation graph' as you might see in some commercial plugins. Drawing roughly (kind of lofi) how these things will react proves to be a lot of fun. Lots of knobs. Some stuff will add spice to drumloops quite well, most settings will make a sine wave sound like a rock guitar.
Explanation of the effect and controls:
- SELECT knob selects one of 16 distortion patterns. You're welcome to throw these away and draw your own.
- According to the incoming signal, the white vertical line in the main graph display jumps left and right to find a corresponding return value. This also means that a straight line from bottom left to upper right would result in minimal distortion.
- Use the Scale fader on the left to adjust input signal to scan over the whole left-to-right. The small meter on the left labeled "C-F-W" change how overdrive is delt with (fade between clip/fold/wrap). DC may be used too; since a new value is looked up, no DC should be introduced at the line outs.
- Color provides a "DJ style" filter on the effect (amount controls dry/wet)
- Itchy is a LPF, Scratchy controls Envelope amount over Itchy. Small negative (-400Hz) envelope possible.
- Dry/Wet: fades exponentially between affected and unaffected signal. Next version might have 'curve' control to adjust for different types of inputs.
- Little computer screen: Shows how the signal gets mapped eventually. ie. at lower 'Scale' and 'FB' values it should resemble the big picture. Two modes of display: the right is more for watching what the filtering, dry/wet, feedback stuff does after the scanning, the left one is the 'fair' one just showing what is done to the input signal, so to say.
- Smoovment is a regular LFO from the library that can be routed to both Itch and Color filters and the Scanning itself. Notice this last one can cause heavy DC. Update also allows modulating the delay in the feedback chain, which results in some type of chorus.
- Diff button: Outputs only the difference with the input signal. May be used on send tracks, usually results a screeching distortion with lots of highs. Notice this is routed after the Dry/Wet, so it will mute everything is D/W is fully dry.
- Lo Cut: use to eliminate noise.
- FB: Feed back into lookup. Notice that with low DC settings, this can cause heavy DC into the input. The thing with the lookup table for saturation graph is that DC in the input oftentimes does not translate to a DC'd output.
- Delay: delay (in ms) in feedback chain. Note that D/W control also affects what gets fed back.

Drawable Waveshaper
The incoming audio is distorted according to the plot in the central graph. Additional gain and filtering controls are available to further tweak the sound.
The download includes two versions of the ensemble, one mono and the other stereo.
The effect will work on any signal, but best results seem to come from synths, bass, and drums.

NeuronDrum
by Poul Vestergaard
NeuronDrum is a sample based rhythm composer.
It has 512 audio samples 32MB. Most of the sounds are made for electronica music.
All rhythms is made of a neuron based approach with 8 neurons.
Neuron 1 has 64 metronome kind of sounds.
Neuron 2 has 64 bass drum sounds.
Neuron 3 has 64 snare drum sounds.
Neuron 4 has 64 kind of short blips sounds.
Neuron 5 has 64 short glitch sounds.
Neuron 6 has 64 low pitched tom like sounds.
Neuron 7 has 64 long effect like sounds.
Neuron 8 has 64 different closed hihat sounds.
The first neuron works as a kind off metronome. All neuron can send impulses to each other.
Every neuron has a threshold value.
If the threshold is 3 then it will need 4 impuses to fire the sample,
and send impulses to other neurons.
NeuronDrum will recieve midi note on at all 8 neuron, but thats only if it's used as soundmodule.
NeuronDrum will send midi notes from its rhythmgenerator.
It will syncronize to midisongposition, but will only be accurate from start of the song.
caused by the nature of this way of generating rhythm patterns.
NeuronDrum has 5 effect unit. Tempodelay, reverb, compressor, exciter and a modwheel controlled lowpass filter.

ProbabilityDrum
by Poul Vestergaard
ProbabilityDrum is a sample based rhythm composer for reaktor 5.9
There are 8 sounds plus global accent and 16 step sequencer.
Every step in the sequence has a slide for the probability for playing the sound.
100% will play the sound every time.
0% will not play the sound.
50% will have the probability of 50% for playing the sound.
